All sports have a purpose in just about everybody life even if you like it or not.The purpose of youth sports should be as much about learning sustainable life lessons as it is about winning games. In the past, more kids had small jobs, such as a paper route where they could learn valuable lessons about responsibility, respect, self-discipline, accountability, and teamwork.Hundreds of sports exist, from those between single contestants, through to those with hundreds of simultaneous participants, either in teams or competing as individuals. In certain sports such as racing, many contestants may compete, simultaneously or consecutively, with one winner; in others, the contest (a match) is between two sides, each attempting to exceed the other. Some sports allow a tie game; others provide tie-breaking methods to ensure one winner and one loser. A number of contests may be arranged in a tournament producing a champion. Many sports leagues make an annual champion by arranging games in a regular sports season, followed in some cases by playoffs.

I think the joy of basketball is when you play with a smile on your face at the end of the day. Over the years basketball has evolved and became more open to new moves more leagues. Basketball a living and drive for getting better mentally and physically at it or just for fun. By mentally and physically, like face to face ball and mentally by counsel. The hype as in the exciting part of it, is making a buzzer beater shot that wins the game or crossing someone over. All though some rules restrict you from do some things but what they allow is still enough to have fun. Also you don't have to be in the game to enjoy it, say your in the crowd watching your friend just dominate the other team your most likely going to be ecstatic. Or state a championship and your team is winning that you been rooting for all your life. All I'm really saying is that basketball was made for good times so u can go to it when u need a good memory.
